    Opposing the designation of any area in the state as a world                                    
    heritage site, biosphere reserve, or any other type of international

Representative Coghill moved and asked unanimous consent that the                                   
following committee substitute be adopted in lieu of the original                                   
resolution:                                                                                         
                                                                                                    
    CS FOR HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 16(RES)                                                       
    Opposing the designation of any area in the state as a world                                    
    heritage site, biosphere reserve, or any other type of international                            
    designation without the consent of the Alaska State Legislature                                 
    and affected local governments.                                                                 
                                                                                                    
There being no objection, it was so ordered.

Representative Coghill objected and withdrew the objection.  There                                  
being no further objection, Amendment No. 1 was adopted.

Representative Coghill moved and asked unanimous consent that                                       
CSHJR 16(RES) am be considered engrossed, advanced to third                                         
reading, and placed on final passage.  There being no objection, it was                             
so ordered.
